Karlyn D Percil is a Host, Entrepreneur and a Leadership & Etiquette Consultant. She is also the creator of the Karlyn Percil Show, an online magazine talk-show that celebrates diversity here in Canada! Karlyn works in International Banking at Scotiabank, Scotia Plaza and also own her own fashion line called Bellemoun.

Karlyn was born on the beautiful island of Saint Lucia. Basking in the richness of family values, religious beliefs, and steadfast support; her parents raised Karlyn and her siblings; (one brother and three sisters) amongst a very luxuriant and diverse Creole Caribbean legacy. The St. Lucian beauty is greatly inspired by the sound advice received from her parents and late grandfather, who significantly influenced her through his constant portrayal of mental strength, agility and physical vigour in the midst of adversity and strife. With her tenacious spirit, Karlyn Percil moved to Toronto, Canada in 2003 with the aspirations of broadening her horizons and embracing new endeavours.

Karlyn, who is a firm believer in giving back to the community, planned and organized a fashion show for the Aids Action Foundation in St. Lucia. She also assisted in the organization and implementation of the holiday activities for the orphan children at the Children’s Home in St. Lucia. In Toronto, she hosted for the Bereaved Families of Toronto, the silent auction at the Curvy Catwalk, the CanFar Gala, the Niagara Wine Auction for the Sick Kids Foundation, and the BBPA Harry Jerome Awards Silent Auction for two consecutive years.

“My deepest joy and satisfaction comes from giving back to the community in whatever way I can,” states Karlyn Percil. Ultimately, the talented, beautiful and driven Karlyn Percil seeks to inspire and exude leadership prowess elegantly and with style. Karlyn is currently on the Board of Directors for the Black Business and Professional Association as the Chair of the highly coveted BBPA Harry Jerome Awards, where she is in charge of  overseeing the planning Committee for the 13 category Award Show. The BBPA Harry Jerome Awards is attended by over 1000 individuals every year. She also sat on the committee for the Scotiabank Bright Futures Program and the National Workforce Leadership Committee at Scotiabank. In addition, she facilitates Etiquette Workshops for at-risk youths and adults.

Karlyn is a former model and has been featured in SHE Caribbean, Caribbean Posh Magazine, YO Magazine.

Karlyn believes that every aspect of our lives should be celebrated, and hopes to inspire all through her various endeavors- whether it`s through her clothing line Bellemoun, the talk show, Etiquette Classes or through a speech.

Karlyn Percil aims to  inspire and celebrate the many individuals within the Diversity bracket in Canada.
